I can’t believe that we are half way through 2017 already! Time doesn’t stand still for anyone. Our week has been a simple one – time spent in the garden, and with friends and cousins. It has been really lovely. This blog has been a little neglected recently – evenings have been so busy. I planned on finishing off and scheduling a few posts over the weekend, but I have been struck down with a strange illness and spent all day Sunday in bed.
R: Ru wrote his name for the first time this week, and I am really proud of him. He is so different to Win, and it has been a real lesson to me about how different children are. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to get him to do it again, but he was so pleased with himself.
O: Otto has been so happy this last week and it is lovely to have his happy, easy-going personality back. He was diagnosed with an ear infection and since having antibiotics he is so much better.
Oh I’m sorry you and Otto have both been poorly but I’m glad Otto is back to normal. I hope you are feeling better too.

Thank you so much Nat. I am feeling so much better after antibiotics too! x
Being ill with kids to care for is the toughest combination isn’t it? Hope you feel better soon xx
Absolutely! Thanks so much Nat xx
YAY for Ru writing his name! I’m interested in seeing how Troy does at school compared to how Athena’s been – I’m prepared for him to be the polar opposite but he could follow in his footsteps – we shall see! x
It is so interesting isn’t it? and sometimes children will do things for teachers that they simply won’t do for parents! The main excitement for me when they start something new is getting an outsiders view. It’s wonderful to get some perspective xx
They look like they’re having great fun in that sand! I hope you’re all feeling better soon x #LivingArrows
So much better thank you! xx
