national railway museum

This week seems to have lasted a long time, in a really good way. Each day has been steady and we’ve been enjoyed getting out and about. I took the boys to the National Railway Museum on Wednesday. We caught the ‘road train’ into York and spent ages wandering around and just got back in time to pick Win up from school. It was a close one!

R: Ru is such a home body that it can take ages for me to persuade him to leave the house (other than playgroup, football or a play date). Town, shops and jobs are big no-nos for Ru. When he was getting ready at a snail’s pace to go to the National Railway Museum, I said to him: “I thought you would really excited to go to the museum”. He answered: “I’m not really excited, just a bit excited”. He never likes to let on that he is enjoying himself, yet he ran round the museum like a headless chicken because he was so excited!

O: O has become a little chatterbox. I love it when I get him out of his cot in the morning, or from a nap, and he tells me all about it (in his own way, of course). He loves the toilet and the shower – he can’t resist either, and we have to always make sure the bathroom door is kept firmly shut.

I dont know why they take so long to get out. My two are exactly the same. Maybe its an age thing? #LivingArrows

I am sure you are right! My eldest is quite outdoorsy, so he’s quite easy to get outside. They’re all so different x

See, each week at the moment is so long for me in such a bad way so it’s lovely to hear that yours is going at a good pace and you’re enjoying it. We are huge train fans here and have York on our list of places to visit this year – fingers crossed! x
