52/52 – 1/52

I think the few days between Christmas and New Year are my absolute favourite. Lots of family to see, sporadic plans, days out and relaxed family time. I think I prefer it to Christmas itself. It feels like there are no expectations and no pressures. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas.

I haven’t had chance to sit down and think about my hopes and dreams for 2017. Last year I wrote down some less and more thoughts, and I definitely managed to make a few conscious changes. Jared and I intend to sit down and plan a few hopes for our little family. I wonder what they will be?

On another note – how difficult is it to get three boys to stay still for two seconds? The answer is: near impossible!

R: Ru loved going to see a pantomime this week. He barely moved, and found it totally hilarious.

O: We have two huge canvases of Winston and Rufus at the top of the stairs, and each time I carry O upstairs for bed I show them to him. He smiles excitedly at them, and then looks at me as if to say: “Mum, I’m so glad they are my brothers”. That’s what I imagine anyway…perhaps his thoughts are more honest than mine!

Happy New Year, and thank you all so, so much for the time you spend reading my little tiny dot of a blog. May 2017 be a very happy and fulfilling year.

E xx
