Text conversations with my husband

This post is just a bit of fun. Every couple of months I love spending a good few minutes scrolling through Jared and I’s recent text conversations. Laughing out loud at the situations (ones that were absolutely not funny at the time), disagreements, boring, child related, ridiculous, house related and random texts we’ve sent to each other. It really brightens my day, and I think it’s a great little diary of daily life with young children. I would highly recommend taking the time to do it every so often.

It reminds me how times have changed. As a new couple at the tender ages of 19 and 25 – could we ever have imagined sending such messages to each other? At the other end of the spectrum, there comes a familiarity and ease with each other that I love.

If you are thinking of starting a family, nervous about getting serious with someone, recently bought a house together, or thinking of extending your family. These may help with your decision, and may (or may not) give you things to look forward to (!)

Over sharing is not my thing, so sadly you won’t find anything too juicy. I think you will guess quite quickly who is who…and if you’re a parent of little people – does yours look similar to ours?

Enjoy.

Meanwhile I am cringing at how much I use ‘lol’.

Haha it’s so funny I bet most parents have such similar conversations! We also have issues with unexpected excrement and amazon prime fees!

Amazon Prime drives me crazy…thankfully it is pretty easy to cancel…even for the third time. Haha! x

This actually made me laugh out loud. AMAZON! They make it so confusing on purpose so you don’t know whether to say yes or no. EVERY TIME! And, Hubby and I used to go on Ikea dates. We’d go late at night, wander round and get hot dogs at the end. loved it. I would never have thought ‘mint’ would be in your vocabularies. So funny! x

I’m glad other people have the same problem with Amazon Prime. It is always me that manages to press the wrong button. Wandering around any shop child free feels like a date 🙂 ‘Mint’ is very much a family word. We always used it growing up xx

Laughing my head off at these, especially the amazon one, I have been so nearly caught out with that several times! I don’t really get to do this with James as he’s a teacher so never gets to text me back until end of the day, by then the moment has passed, haha. Really cute post xx

I am so pleased that people have problems with Amazon Prime. They are so sneaky! I know what you mean about the moment passing! x
