We’ve had a really busy weekend and I am feeling a bit worn out, even though I have loved it. I feel like having three isn’t as tricky as I expected, but I definitely wing it more than I used to…hopefully that won’t last too much longer (!) I am still adamant that going from zero to one child is the hardest, which not many people seem to concur with!

W: After school tiredness has kicked in this week, and I freely admit that I look forward to Jared getting home from work more than ever.

R: I had a bit of a scare with Ru this week – he wandered down the street after I popped back into the house for something I’d forgotten. Thankfully we live on a very quiet, long cul-de-sac, but it’s my most panicky motherhood experience so far. He was no where to be seen!

O: O went on a swing for the first time this week and loved it.

0-1 is defo the hardest. I did find the adjustment to three quite tricky too, not so much because of the kids, just because of the sheer exhaustion. I feel like I have been able to enjoy things so much more since the summer holidays. It certainly gets a lot easier when the youngest approaches 2, which is just such a fun phase! I could do with time slowing down so that I can enjoy it more! Glad to hear you’re taking the wingin’ it approah, not sure I’ve ever known of another way. Hope you manage to get some rest xxxx

I am so glad you agree…I always wonder if I’m a bit crazy for thinking that way. I do wish I could go back and enjoy just having one again. Life would feel so easy with one and I would do all sorts. I too love the lead up to age two. They are just fantastic little creatures! Maybe I will always wing it from now on! x

We’re debating going for number 3 at the moment so it’s really nice to hear that it’s ok, haha! I’ve been winging it so far anyway! Love all their different expressions in the photo. x #LivingArrows

Oh I haven’t made it to three but I definitely found zero to one children was harder than one to two. Dare I say it I actually find two easier now because they entertain each other.
