20160925_133812I know I am going to savour photos like this in a few years time – one where they just delight and fuss over their youngest sibling. However, if O is going to be anything like his brothers; he is going to be fiercely competitive, and an expert at creating an argument over anything and everything (!) A peacemaker in our home would be so welcome, but don’t grow up too fast baby O.

W: Win has been talking a lot about having a birthday party this week. All three boys have birthdays in winter months, so I may need to get inventive over the next few years! Party planning is new territory for us, and it scares me a little.

R: Ru produced a sweet drawing of our family this week. Basic, but recognisable. It’s the first one we’re going to keep.

O: We started O on a few basic foods this week. He is our fastest and most efficient eater, but starts crying if he doesn’t like something. This is a new one for us – our other two have eaten anything and everything, so we’re just going to keep trying (and trying). We tried avocado a few times and it really upset him each time!

What an adorable photo, I’m sure they get cuter every week. Good luck with the birthday parties! We had our first one earlier this year and just booked it at soft play, it seemed so much easier than doing it at home.

That does sound like a sensible idea! At the moment he changes his mind all the time. I’m hoping by March that he just wants a few friends round, but who knows! I don’t think I can cope inviting the whole class like most people. My idea of a nightmare!!! x

I find avocado a bit hit and miss – even myself! Your boys look so close, I hope that they stay this close, or become closer as the years go by. We had our first ‘proper’ party this year and I think it’s made me want something lower key next time! x

Well done for doing a proper party. The thought honestly makes me feel nervous. I’m hoping his ideas will settle. Me too, I hope they really look out for one another as they grow xx
