IMG_5875“A portrait of my boys, once a week, every week, in 2016″.

The two boys often fight over who gets to lay next to Otto…then I remind them that he has two sides(!) We have spent the last week in Portugal, and I have come home feeling so relaxed – more on that another time.

W: I hate saying this out loud, but we are finding Winston really hard work at the moment and have done for a few weeks. I’ve read in a few places that between the ages of 4 and 5, boys have a big increase in testosterone, then it settles down again. Some sources say that it’s a myth, but from what we’ve been experiencing…it’s real people! He starts school soon and I’m desperate to enjoy our last few months together. I’m trying very hard. Come back soon, sweet boy!

R: Rufus loved swimming on holiday and moves through the water quite fast (with his arm bands on, of course).

O: Otto was a dream on holiday. Lots of people said we were brave taking a 2 month old on holiday…but truthfully he was wonderful, and a lot easier than both of his brothers.

What a lovely snuggly picture! I’m glad your holiday was relaxing. Sorry to hear you are struggling with Winston, I am having the same problem with my 4 year old at the moment but she’s a girl, so I don’t know what her excuse is!

Thanks Louise. Must be a 4 year old thing, and I need to get better at not taking it personally, which is hard when we invest so much in them! xx

    Lovely Pic!
His sweetness will return i’m sure haa, Ethan has his days…hes very testing at the moment too!! Otto’s behaviour makes me even more determined for a trip somewhere fun in October, when I mention the prospect I get a similar response “what with a 3 month baby”?? haha x

3 month old will be the least of your worries! Lol. I think with a 4 and 5 year old it would be great because they’re independent by then and you won’t need a buggy etc. xx

Great photo. And I totally get where you’re coming from on the behaviour thing. My eldest is going through something similar. I hate having to tell her off because she’s such a good girl usually.

I agree. I absolutely hate telling him off, but it’s impossible to let it go on at the same time. But then most of the time he is great x

What a lovely picture of your boys – I’m glad you had a good holiday, despite having to deal with four year old hormones! #LivingArrows

I guess I have that testosterone increase to look forward to with Troy in the future! I will hold on to my quiet and cuddly little dude for a bit longer. I love how your two have a side each with Otto, and that they just want to be together. I hope you had a lovely break away x
