“A portrait of my boys, once a week, every week, in 2016″.
This photo is far from perfect, but it sums up everything I am dreaming about summer (which we got a glimpse of this week) – lots of picnicking, being outside and spending time with my boys. When I look back on this stage of our lives, I want to remember that we ate almost the exact same thing for lunch every day (no joke) and how the simplest of things gave the greatest pleasure.
W: I feel like I know my children well, but there are so many moments when they surprise me. Win picked his baby brother the biggest dandelion he could find and placed it right by him, then he wanted to sit so he could shield him from the sun. Win can be quite self absorbed (like lots of children I suspect) and this was a reminder that he can be really thoughtful. I breathe a little sigh of relief when things like this happen.
R: We’re attempting potty training with Ru this week. He seems keen, but we’ll see!
O: O has been far more aware this week and loves being talked to.

A lovely photo of a lovely moment. I love it when babies start to become more aware and our lunches are frequently repetitive!
They seem to become so alert so quickly – like they’re waking up more to the world every single day x
Ah what a gorgeous photo. We are almost at the point of attempting potty training too, eek!

It has been a very busy…and wee filled week, but he’s done so well! Phew! x
I love how Otto is laying in his brother’s shadow. Such a gorgeous photo and this sums up how any newborn spring/summer should be – easy. Eating outdoors is always easier and children being outside is easier, they’re instantly happier x
Couldn’t agree more Donna! Being outside is so much easier xx
What a lovely photo Esther. Thanks for sharing. Good luck with Win 🙂 Exciting times! lol
Thanks Ang xx
