As I approach the end of pregnancy I get really excited to wear my usual clothes again and I love looking in all the shops again. My favourite thing has got to be all the denim around at the moment – dungarees, sweet pinafores, button down skirts, flared jeans, wide leg jeans, culottes, trusty skinny jeans, plus all the washes and finishes. I steer away from wide leg trousers, but I think they look incredible on other ladies.
Here are a few other items I am loving:
Green midi dress / Silk botanical dress / Linen midi dress
All of these beauties are from Warehouse, which really surprised me. I normally love Asos for dresses, but Warehouse have so many and it was hard to choose my favourites. I love them all so much.
Pinafore / Dungarees / Culottes
I bought a similar pair of dungarees in the Zara sale for £9.99, which I was so pleased about – I can’t wait to wear them over the summer. The pinafore is from New Look and I love the culottes too. A few of my sisters wore culottes last summer and I always thought they looked so good.
A few of my friends own this green checked shirt and I have always loved the pattern and colour. I spotted the striped one in Topshop the other day and it is a really thick, lovely cotton. The botanical one is from Warehouse and I love the neckline.
Grey cardigan with hood / Printed long line shirt / Long line green cardigan
Long cardigans are so incredibly cosy and when you live in England they are useful to have on hand all year round. The grey one has a hood, the green one has pockets and I love the crazy number in the middle.
Mesh lace up shoes / Sandals / Leather slippers
It looks like lace up shoes are here to stay and I think that the leather slip ons look so comfortable.
Bucket bag / Woven bag / Fringed bag / Woven clutch
All four bags are from Zara and I couldn’t choose a favourite.
Wool blend / Oversized denim jacket / Khaki bomber
I haven’t owned a denim jacket since I was about 17, but I feel like the time is right again. I love this oversized wool blend blazer and although I know bombers would look awful on me, I have a lot of love for them.
I just had to add this one in because it’s amazing. Pom poms, beads and colour – everything I love!
What are you loving the look of? Send anything lovely my way.
E xx
Lovely! All gorgeous stuff! I saw some culotte style dungarees like you have here in the Zara sale for like £7! Gutted ill be a fat pregnant lady when the season is right for them haha.. id love some maternity dungarees though…ill have to scout some out x
I have some black jersey dungarees that you can totally borrow. Probably when you’re a little bigger though – I think they would be huge now xx
Ooh all gorgeous stuff! I really need a shopping trip to update my winter wardrobe but the weather is still terrible at the moment, it was snowing here today, so I am holding off for a while longer! #sharewithme
The weather has been awful for the last few weeks, but we’ve had amazing sun for the last few days…and that makes me want to crack anything summery out! xx
Love all of this, That floral dress is stunning. I feel like I look so silly wearing certain things that are flowy when pregnant so I stick to leggings or jeans! (boring!) as much as im cherishing this pregnancy, theres always that feeling at this stage of just wanting my body shape back and to be able to wear actual fashion! lol xx
Completely agree Nat! xx
I love the linen midi dress! I tried a denim jacket again last summer and I loved it (despite last worn one about 15 years ago!) x
Oh – me too Lizzie! I felt it in store and it is such a good weight linen too. I won this exact denim jacket through ebay tonight for £10. SO pleased!!! xx
Absolutely loving your spring style guide here. So many favorites of mine too. 🙂 Thanks for linking up to Share With Me #sharewithme
