Hasn’t it been warm this week? Maybe it’s just because I’m pregnant, but I’ve felt far too hot all wrapped up! I am feeling so Christmassy and am seriously excited. I’m heading to my parents with the boys on Sunday evening and staying until Christmas Day. I cannot wait to see them both open their presents. Ru will be so much more aware than last year and I’m interested to see what he makes of it.
We have been so fortunate to stay at North Star Club in East Yorkshire for two nights this week. It is the most gorgeous place I have ever stayed in and our lodge was incredible. I will be writing about it before signing off for Christmas.

This is my main New Year’s resolution, so watch this space!
Watched
Nothing other than the X-Factor final. I don’t normally keep up to date with X-Factor but I loved Louisa and was so pleased when she won. Some people were just born with it and her voice is stunning. I usually fast forward everyone else! The boys enjoyed watching ‘The Snowman’ this week too.
Heard
I’ve had Smooth Christmas on in the car all week. My current favourite is: ‘Lonely This Christmas’.
Made
A couple of winter salads – one of which you can find the recipe for here. I love salad and all things leafy.
The boys and I went to a Stick Man activity day at a local church and they loved making lots of different things, including their very own stick men.
Win also insisted on making some glittery pine cones one afternoon.
Wore
A festive red coat and faux fur. I also got my nails Shellac’d in red to feel extra festive.
and lastly…
Wishing you all the merriest of Christmases ever! May you spend it with people you love, feel true happiness and eat too much food.
Happy, happy Christmas!

We can’t wait to watch the film of The Stickman this year, one of our favourites! ..
Isn’t Louisa’s voice stunning, so soulful and I’m very glad she won too! Yes to the shellac nails, I’m doing mine this weekend in preparation for Christmas 🙂 hope you have a wonderful family filled time xx
Yes! Christmas Day isn’t it? Yes! I absolutely love her voice and she is just lovely too. Ooooo enjoy getting your nails done. It always makes me feel remotely ‘pulled together’.
Have a really wonderful Christmas Nat xx
I bought loads of glittery pine cones – should have got the kids to make them! 🙂 Didn’t watch any of the X factor once live shows kicked in but I do recall Louisa being one of the best. Home made stick men are cute but to be honest anything involving twigs and twine kind of makes me think of the Blair Witch Project! Looking forward to the film on Christmas Day though. Have a lovely Christmas Xx #littleloves
The glitter got everywhere but they were so easy! That’s funny that it makes you think of that! Hahaa. Me too – happy Christmas Sam xx
Loving the glittery pine cones and the stick man craft. I missed Stick Man on Christmas Day but my girls loved it.
Hope you’re having a lovely Christmas xx
Stick Man was brilliant and thank you! Happy New Year! xx
