A cold, London and Christmas Crafts – #Littleloves

Ru started with a cold a week or so ago, but this week he has had a terrible cough and has been generally miserable. Musical beds has been in full force, but he slept through last night which was dreamy (and much needed).

London went by in a flash, but I managed to catch up with three of my oldest friends from school which was wonderful! We took the boys to The Natural History Museum and to The Tower of London. They loved the underground and going on buses, plus our Air bnb worked out brilliantly.

Erm. Holiday websites? We’ve booked three nights away to Krakow in December, and I’m rather excited about it. We were thinking Moscow or Istanbul, but ‘terror ratings’ are high for both at the mo, so we thought we’d stay well clear.

Watched

This week has been a week where I have watched anything and everything sad. The News, Crimewatch and Panorama have all featured, and it’s all been rather emotional.

Heard

Michael Buble’s Christmas album…

Made

An advent calendar. I know! It is so early, but due to Ru being ill we’ve been in a lot and it seemed like the perfect opportunity. A few people have asked for a tutorial which is scheduled for Tuesday. I’m not sure one is needed though – it was unbelievably easy.

Last night I ran a wreath making workshop for the ladies at church. I’m not overly thrilled with how my turned out (and the picture is awful) but it was such good fun! I managed to make this very simple apron too.

Wore

I’ve already reached the stage in pregnancy where I don’t feel like my body is my own. It’s something I struggle with and it really effects my confidence. I feel bad that I think about it so much as there are far bigger problems in the world! So ridiculous. On a far lovelier note, we were sent some beautiful clothes from Joules and Ru has been modelling them. Win was trying not-so-hard to stay out of the pictures…

and lastly…

I am heading to The Handmade Fair in Manchester tomorrow with my mum and I am so excited. We’ve booked in for felting, upholstery and lino printing. How brilliant does that sound? Jared hasn’t had the boys for a full day by himself for a while, so I think it will be nice to have me out of the way for once!

Have a wonderful weekend!

E xx

Ooh I’d love to go to a wreath making workshop, I’ll have to keep an eye out to see if there’s one round here.
I remember that stage of pregnancy well, I just tried to find some clothes that I loved and felt comfy in and that helped (it is tricky though!)
Hope you had fun at the Handmade Fair! xx
