Courgettes, a baby and a raincoat – #Littleloves

I suppose the biggest news this week is that baby number three is on its way. I’m quite open about the fact that I want my children close together, so I think it wasn’t a surprise for lots of people. I also like to have babies in Spring for lots of reasons, which may sound really strange. Win was at my parents for most of the week so things have been quiet around here.

Last weekend with my family was lots of fun. My mum is so good at organising us all and it still blows my mind that I have over twenty people in my immediate family! It’s abnormal. We played sports, ate too much food, played mafia (even though I get so scared), chatted and danced a lot.

Read

This needs improvement. Sorry. I did read the news online one night and I was balling my eyes out for about half an hour. I feel like I have a responsibility to know what is going on in the world, but my heart can’t cope with it.

Watched

The Great British Bake Off and I am really loving it. Have you noticed I’ve been watching far more TV? I literally can’t cope being vertical after 7pm, so I have been sprawled out on the sofa under a blanket. I’m hoping the tiredness eases off soon. Jared and I have also started watching ‘Suits’.

Heard

It’s all been about Mariah Carey this week. I think I’ve been scaring the boys with my singing and dancing. It gets a little out of control and they just stare. Ru has some cracking moves.

Made

If you follow me on Instagram you will know that courgettes have featured heavily this week. My mum gave me four huge courgettes and they needed using – courgette soup, an amended version of this chocolate courgette cake and savoury courgette muffins. All of them were surprisingly tasty.

Wore

It’s all been a bit random – sandals with checked shirts and trainers and jumpers. I bought some maternity MOM jeans in the Topshop sale for £10 which I’m sure I’ll be cracking out in a few weeks time. I’m also seriously lusting after this yellow Petit Bateau raincoat. I kind of can’t stop thinking about it, but it is so much money! I don’t own a waterproof jacket and I keep telling myself I need it for the nursery run. I’d better start saving and get some more massage clients.

And lastly…

I won’t be blogging at all next week as the amazing Sian from Potty Mouthed Mummy will be working her magic to make my blog look better and feel more user friendly. It’s good timing as Win will be settling into nursery and playgroup is back on. I’ll have to be a little more organised.

Have a beautiful weekend!

E xx

Oh I’ve been sobbing at the news this week. I selfishly wish I could unsee it all, it’s far too harrowing, especially when you have a little three year old at home.

Still very excited about your news, so lovely and eek for the new site. Can’t wait to get it all done for you xx

So excited about about number 3!
The courgette bit made me giggle as we had a courgette plant in the garden growing up and I remember my mum putting courgette in everything!! I remember watching her making courgette chocolate cake with such horror, haha! That kind of thing is pretty normally know though isn’t it?
I too LOVE that Petit Bateau coat, *sigh* a girl can dream.

Thanks Morgana! My mum has millions of them. I’m hoping I don’t get any more for at least of couple of weeks.
