Yes – it was you think it is! Jared and I are delighted to say that baby number three is on the way. Due March 2016 and we are both very excited. We’ve obviously known we were expecting for a couple of months, and it’s a secret we’ve enjoyed keeping between ourselves. To me, having a baby never seems real until you see it there on the screen, which is exactly what we did last Thursday.
So far pregnancy has been mostly ok. The first sign I always pick up on is my sudden aversion to cooking. It doesn’t make me feel sick, I just can’t bear the thought of it. I have been favouring plain food like bread, pasta and potatoes and I have felt nauseous if I haven’t eaten for over an hour, which means I now have an extra layer of unwanted blubber. I’ve also been so bloated and it has been waking up at night – probably due to the above reasons! We’ve been eating some very random meals, the boys have been eating far more beans on toast than is acceptable and the house is a little more unkempt than I’d like.
Tiredness has come as a bit of shock. By about 2pm from about week three I have felt completely wiped out, and I’ve even being going to bed as early as 8pm. I have more energy in the mornings so if we’re keeping it local I’ve been taking the boys out first thing, so Win and I can return home and relax whilst Ru naps. Win and I have been reading and snuggling together on the sofa and catching up with The Great British Bake Off. I knew he would love it, so I have been saving it to watch with him. He loves seeing the creations and telling me what he thinks of them, but doesn’t it just want to make you try them all?…I digress.
I won’t be writing too much about my pregnancy on here – I prefer to just let it happen, and we will be finding out the gender when 20 weeks comes around. I get so excited thinking about what unique characteristics our new little person will have.
…so here’s to five and the worst pregnancy announcement pictures ever! How huge is my mouth?
…and this one, because it is literally so awkward not to share.
A huge congratulations!!!!! Welcome to the madness that is five!!!!! I’m exactly the same as you when I’m pregnant, exhausted and live on plain food. Just rest as much as you can. I realise that’s practically impossible with two children though xxx very happy for you all 🙂
Eeeeep. Thanks Kerry! I’m expecting to have to juggle far more but I’m so excited too! I am lying down so much it’s embarrassing! x
Congratulations Esther!! Such lovely news and you will just love having three little ones. It’s even more fun, if that’s possible! 🙂 xx
Thanks Emma! I can’t wait. More people = more fun! x
You are cute, your mouth isn’t huge. 🙂 My boys didn’t react the way I thought they would either when we announced the news…
My eldest was pleased…less happy to have a photo though. He says he would really like a sister – probably because his brother steals everything from him! Thank you xx
I am so excited for you and I love the pictures! They’re so natural and so… you! Hubby and I have recently been talking about number 3 – we only ever planned two though so it’s all very ifs and maybes at the moment. I can’t wait to see your four become a five.
On another note, I thought I was following your blog but it turns out I was following ‘you’ on bloglovin and not your actual blog! Rectified now so will comment more often 🙂 x
Thanks Donna! Eeeep. I love talking to my hubs and planning if and when to have a baby. It’s so precious and exciting…yet there is so much to consider. Thanks – I didn’t even know I had a ‘me’ separate to my blog…may need to look at that xx
Oh Esther that’s amazing!!! Huge congratulations lovely. These pics have put a huge smile on my face xx
Thanks Sian! x
