Swimming, talking and a dress – #Littleloves

A little late with Little Loves this week, but WiFi is hard to find at Center Parcs and I didn’t want to have to think about it. The swimming pool was the biggest hit – with the boys, not Jared (apparently it was too cold) and I loved watching them getting so excited about it all. Tomorrow is going to be a big tidy up and washing day. We have definitely been neglecting the house over the last few weeks.

We had such a good time with my family picnicking at the lido in Cambridge last Friday – now that was cold! Ru is fast growing out of his stripy number, but I’m going to squeeze in as many photo opportunities as possible, before he literally can’t get in it.IMG_20150807_191726We got the date for Win’s settling in session at nursery – it was two weeks earlier than I expected. Eeep. He is so looking forward to it.

Read

I’m excited that Courtney Adamo from Babyccino blog has set up a separate blog to document travelling around the world for a year with her husband and four children. Between you and I, it is something we would love to do with our children one day, so I can’t wait to read all about where they go and how they plan it all. I don’t know whether to allow myself to dream about it or not.

Watched

After Jared and I finished Revenge a few months ago, we feel ready to watch another series. It is quite nice sitting down together once a week and enjoying a series. We’ve only ever watched Revenge…and I only like to watch one thing at a time. Recommendations please?

Heard

…Winston talk. I honestly can’t believe how much he talks. So many people comment on how much he has to say, but it is unbelievable. He has an opinion on absolutely everything!

Made

Memories? if that’s allowed. I purposely booked activities for Winston at Center Parcs that I wasn’t sure how he’d respond to. I feel like I get to know him that way and I enjoy watching him work out what he’s doing. I also booked Ru into the crèche for three hours, which was very out of character! I still don’t know what possessed me to do it – I think part of me was interested to see how he’d respond and part of me wanted him to have some play time, rather than be dragged around to everyone else’s activities. This is Ru enjoying the crèche…

We couldn’t stop laughing when we collected him. Apparently he played for two hours and slept for one. The lady couldn’t believe he hadn’t been left with strangers before because he was so happy. This boy is so unpredictable!

Wore

Still wearing my Asos sandals and dungarees to death, but I did wear a blue and silver dress to my sister’s wedding. There’s quite a lot of face in these photographs, so sorry!

I have so many things that I want to write about on my blog, but it is so tricky to find the time to write them all down. I feel like my head is so full of thoughts and ideas.

Have a great weekend and thank you so much for reading!

E xx
