Days out, cousins and onesies of all kinds – #Littleloves

This week has gone by in a flash and I cannot believe that it’s Friday already! or July for that matter.

It has been so hot and being out most days has certainly taken its toll on the house – floors that should have been hoovered, washing that needs to be done and lots of bits that need tidying. Summer only comes once people and the house can wait. (That’s what I tell myself anyway). I get in a mad panic to go everywhere when it’s hot, who knows when the sun will make an appearance again? Win starts nursery for two days a week in September, so I also feel panicky that we’re heading towards the end of an era.

Swimwear has been adorned most days, and whenever they are in their matching charity shop onesies, I find myself bursting into random fits of laughter. They are so old school. Win is enthusiastically telling his friend that she has a bum and he has a willy. What a charmer.

My sisters hen party last Saturday seems like such a long time ago – wake boarding was brilliant. I did it once 10 years ago and was surprised how quickly I picked it up again. Obviously I didn’t manage anything fancy, but I had a good few runs whilst wondering how on earth I was staying upright! It did not make sense at all.

Read

Absolutely nothing apart from Red Magazine! Eeeep.

Watched

Win has been mad on drawing this week – jeeps, rockets, police vans, space ships and everything in between. Apparently they’re all for Jesus, but we haven’t quite worked out how we’ll get them to him. IMAG1913

Heard

This motley cousin crew chit chatting away. I love how their friendship slots right back into place as soon as they are together again. Cousins have a such a special place in my heart and I love watching this rabble together – sharing food, discovering new things and playing together.

We had such a fantastic day out to Valley Gardens in Harrogate – we ended up staying until 6 o’clock! There’s an outdoor paddling pool in the park and I’m so glad my sister shared it with us – we’ll definitely be back. If you live in Yorkshire, you need to go.

Made

Win and I have almost finished creating his mini garden.

Wore

My H&M jumpsuit that keeps me so cool and comfy. It makes me feel a bit crazy, but I love it. Win has always refused to wear dungarees – that is until he found out Grandma had bought him some with sharks on. I could actually eat them both when they’re in dungarees!

I bought a denim midi skirt from Zara in China and it’s made a few appearances this week. It got rather wet one morning.

And lastly…

I like to buy a new dress for family weddings, but I cannot find one for my sister’s anywhere – I’ve searched high and low (online). I don’t like anything to pretty or girly, so any tips would be much appreciated.

Happy weekend!

E xx

Ahhh what a lovely round up this week. I love the kids in their swimwear and enjoying the hot weather. Your jumpsuit looks amazing on you. I love them. Will have to make a trip to H&M when I get back to the UK. Your little ones are so cute, look like a great team. #littleloves

Kids are so weird aren’t they? I do love it though – how they can have such a dislike for such random things! x

My dress finding ventures are always a bit of a failure too…monsoon, h&m and new look tend to be my go-to options but I’m sure you’ve already checked them! Hehe how sweet that he’s drawing pics for Jesus, kids have the best and funniest ideas :p hope you have a good weekend xx

Love your jumpsuit, I’m going to have to hunt that down for myself. I have that skirt! Harrogate is lovely. I have some friends that live there, such a pretty place. Your boys look so cute in their onesies! xx

Thanks Kerry. The jumpsuit was £10 a couple of months ago – total bargain! It might still be in the H&M sale. Harrogate is so lovely…but the traffic is always awful. Lovely for a day trip though 🙂 xx

Looks like you’ve been having loads of fun. How cute are those little cousins sat there enjoying each others company! Wish we lived near family so my kids had that. Love your jumpsuit. Have a great week x

I think it must be really hard living really far away from family. Most of mine is within an hour so we do manage to have little meet ups. Thank you – you too xx

Beverley! I cannot tell you how much I love that jumpsuit!!! It is fabulous. I (well my husband) actually found me a dress on Saturday at an outlet so I am so pleased. Really tempted to buy this jumpsuit now though. Really stunning. Thank you so much! xx
