Deliciously Ella, a castle and gold jewellery – #Littleloves

Brit Mums last weekend was absolutely fantastic – I really, really enjoyed it, and I felt like I learnt lots. I loved the creative workshops the best; it was brilliant to get an insight into the minds of such talented people. I also got to stay with a friend I don’t get to see very often, so that was really nice. We went to see Pitch Perfect 2 and it was even more hilarious second time around.

The highlight was getting my picture taken with Ella Woodward – she is so inspiring. I loitered sheepishly with my heart pounding to ask her for a picture and she couldn’t have been more lovely. I love her more than ever now! I told my family and none of them knew who she was, they then proceeded to wind me up me up for about 20 minutes.

I didn’t manage to read many Little Loves last week and I feel bad about it – sorry.

Read

This one needs improvement – thanks for the reminder! I wrote a post about marriage this week and it has been my most viewed post ever, which is great – but freaked me out a little. I didn’t realise it was such a hot topic!

Watched

We spent a really lovely afternoon at Conisbrough Castle on Jared’s birthday. The weather was glorious and I loved watching the boys climb everywhere. Ru was being a little over ambitious.

Heard

Jared has been very good at practising his guitar, so I thought it was high time I had a go at playing the piano again. I literally haven’t touched it for months and was surprised to discover I can still play a few tunes. Needless to say, it didn’t sound the best but it was so enjoyable.

Made

This week has felt busier than usual, so I haven’t made very much apart from a fry up for Jared’s birthday breakfast. I’ve started making a little mini garden for Winston and he loves it, even though all it has in it is soil, and a mini pond so far! He’s decided he wants a slide and a little house in it, so I need to work out how to make those.

Wore

This week it has been all about simple gold necklaces. I can’t get enough of them and I never tire of this M&S fan print jumper that I own.

This weekend is my sister’s hen party and I’m really looking forward to it. We’re going wake boarding on Saturday morning and even though I know I’ll be terrible, I can’t wait!

May the gorgeous weather continue and have a wonderful weekend!

E xx

#LittleLoves is a chance to remember all the things that made up your week. Linking up with Morgana.

Some lovely photos, love your necklaces. I also have some hair envy. If you tell me your waves are natural, this will make it even worse! Glad you had a great time at Britmums xxx

If only the waves were natural! I wish. My hair is so frizzy and wild, but very rarely I decide to get the tongs on it! Have a really lovely week xx

I love castles, I’m such a history geek. Shame the kids don’t share my passion for them or I might get to them more often. Love that fan top, it’s gorgeous. Have a great weekend x

Thank you! We’re history geeks too, but it can be a little tricky because they’re so young! Have a really good week xx

It was so good! You should go! The last time I did it was ten years ago and this time it felt so much easier. Maybe I just had more confidence? SO much fun! Hope you had a good weekend xx
