playgroup win and ru“A portrait of my boys, once a week, every week, in 2015″.

These two are big fans of playgroup and so am I. It is a really traditional one with lots of toys that remind me of my childhood and the three of us go every Tuesday morning. There’s painting, glueing, sticking, sand, water, a kitchen, a reading corner, a climbing frame, bricks, a slide, trikes and a corner that changes between a shop, an opticians, a doctors surgery and a hairdressers.

Rufus has only got really involved over the last couple of months. He crawls around trying to join in. I try not to crowd either of them or suggest things to play with – I love watching them deciding what to play with and interacting with others without my lead. Rufus managed to get himself sat at the glueing table (rather ambitious for a 14 month old), but he loved it. Winston spotted him there and came to join him. I love Ru’s pout and Winston’s concentration face.

Really lovely moment captured. I love how much they concentrate when completely engaged in a task. 🙂
